# Summoning Gems Trading Card Game — Official Rules (Game Mechanics)

## 1) Game Components
- **Deck:** 40–60 cards made up of Creatures and wizardry cards Referred to as the Realm
- **Health Tracker:** Each player starts at **30 Health**.
- **Gem Pool:** Where your available Gem Energy is tracked.
- **Battlefield:** Where your Creatures remain in play.
- **Discard Pile:** Where destroyed/used cards go. Also called the Tomb

## 2) Setup
1. Each player shuffles their deck.
2. Each player draws **5 cards** as an opening hand.
3. Each player starts with **0 Gem Energy** in their pool.
4. Determine the first player (coin flip or agreement).
- The first player **skips the Battle step** on their first turn.

## 3) Turn Structure
Each turn is played in this order:
### Recharge Phase End any effects that last “until end of turn.”
- Add one summoning Gem to turn players pool
### B. Draw Phase
- Draw **1 card**.
### C. Main Phase
- You may **summon Creatures**, **cast Spells**, and **activate abilities**. Creatures have summoning cost on upper right corner.
### D. Combat Phase
- Declare attackers.
- Resolve combat damage.
Weaker Being goes to tomb, if both Beings have equal attack points both are destroyed
### E. End Phase
- Pass the turn to your opponent.

##4) Summoning Creatures
- **Summoning Cost:** Each Creature has a Gem Energy cost. Pay that cost to summon it.
- **Battlefield:** Summoned Creatures enter your battlefield.

## 5 Combat
### A. Declare Attackers
- Choose any number of your ready Creatures that can attack.
Beings must attack other Beings unless defending play has none. In that situation a player may be attacked directly. reduce opponent's health by Beings attack value
### Damage and Results
- Combat damage is dealt simultaneously:
- Attacker deals damage equal to its **Power** to the attack target
- Damage does not stack. Highest attack value wins

## 6) Deckbuilding Rules
- **Deck Size:** 40–60 cards.
- **Copy Limit:** Up to **3 copies** of the same named card.
- **Card Types:** Any mix of Beings and wizardry cards

##7) Win Condition
You win if any of the following happens:
- Your opponent’s Health is reduced to **0 or less**.
- Your opponent must draw a card but **cannot** (empty deck).
- A card effect states an alternate win condition and you fulfill it.

## 8 Tournaments and Clarifications
- **Timing & Disputes:** Pause play and call for a judge/organizer ruling if needed.
- **Official Rulings:** If a ruling conflicts with a player interpretation, the official ruling applies.
- **Round Time:** If playing timed rounds, follow the event’s posted time rules.
All cards must be sleeved in standard sized card sleeves.
